My Story

I understand the pressure that high-achieving women carry — and I know how to help.

For over 19 years, I've worked alongside women who look — by every external measure — like they have it all together. Smart, capable, driven women who have achieved remarkable things, yet can't seem to outrun the anxiety that follows them everywhere they go.

I've trained and practiced at some of the most respected clinical institutions in the country — Stanford Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, and the Keck School of Medicine at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. And what I've seen again and again is that anxiety doesn't discriminate based on success. In fact, for many high-achieving women, the higher they climb, the louder the internal critic becomes.

My practice is grounded in evidence-based methods — primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — and I bring a whole-person perspective to everything we do together. That means I pay attention not just to your thoughts, but to how anxiety shows up in your body, your energy, and your nervous system. Sessions are warm, collaborative, and shaped entirely around your life.

I currently offer teletherapy exclusively, which means you can access high-quality care from the privacy and convenience of your own home, office, or wherever works best for you — anywhere in Utah, California, or Florida.

My Approach

A whole-person approach rooted in the best evidence.

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. My work is tailored to you — your strengths, your goals, your whole life. I pay attention to how stress and anxiety show up not just in your thinking, but in your body and your day-to-day well-being. That said, my methods are always grounded in what decades of clinical research show actually works.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is the gold standard for treating anxiety. Together, we'll identify the thought patterns fueling your anxiety, challenge the ones that aren't serving you, and build more grounded ways of thinking — ones that help both your mind and body settle. Concrete, skills-based, and proven to work.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Originally developed for emotion dysregulation, DBT is now widely used for anxiety, stress, and overwhelm. You'll learn distress tolerance, emotion regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness — practices that help you tune into what your mind and body actually need, and that genuinely become part of how you navigate life.

Collaborative & Goal-Oriented

Therapy shouldn't feel like something being done to you. We work together as a team — I bring the clinical expertise, you bring the deep knowledge of your own life and body. We set goals together and track progress so you can actually see and feel things changing.

Values-Based

Real change happens when we align your actions with what actually matters to you — not someone else's idea of success or wellness. Part of our work together is helping you get clear on your own values, and building a life that feels genuinely fulfilling.
